A grieving family leaves civilization to escape a viral outbreak, only to have the illness strike home, pushing a pregnant researcher and her filmmaker father to find a cure before one of them succumbs to the unidentified chronic wasting disease and becomes a veritable zombie.

SYNOPSIS:

ATROPHY is what I like to describe as a pre-apocalyptic viral outbreak thriller. It's a different take on the zombie genre, a tale of loss and gain, birth and rebirth, and change. I hope that we all find the necessary changes within us to improve ourselves and the world around us.
