When an experimental craft warps into an empty void, the crew must work out exactly where they are if they have any chance of returning home.
SYNOPSIS:
The mission was twofold, first check out new star formation inside a nebula, second, test their tiny craft’s new warp core. Yet as soon as they ‘arrive’ the crew realise something is very wrong. Not only isn’t the nebula itself not there, nothing is there, just a dark void, devoid of matter and energy. No-one can explain it, not even the ship’s astrophysicist. Yet all agree on one point, they’re the victims of corporate greed. The prototype ship wasn’t ready and the corporation funding them knew this. If they want to get home again, they need to figure out exactly what happened before it’s too late. Cool heads and a competent captain are needed. Unfortunately, they have neither.
