Tijuana Adams fights to save her beloved Freedmen's town from a vengeful realtor, relying on courage, cunning, and resilience.
SYNOPSIS:
Welcome to the gripping narrative of 'The Tale of Obsidian Landing.' In this immersive story, an idyllic freedmen's town teeters on the precipice of an abyss when a menacing figure, Dexter Spite, sets foot on its tranquil soil. When the town's sheriff—a beacon of stability and justice—is tragically assassinated and the townsfolk held hostage, the harmony shatters, leaving his young daughter, Tijuana, with a destiny she never anticipated.
Fast forward fifteen years, and Tijuana leads a tranquil existence on her aunt's homestead, a stark contrast to the turmoil of her past. However, the ghosts of Obsidian Landing refuse to rest. A chilling revelation from her aunt—an untold truth about her father's demise and her mother's continued captivity—forces Tijuana to confront her past head-on.
An unexpected encounter with the haunting figure of her past, Spite, unearths a chance for retribution. Left behind are directions, a cryptic roadmap leading Tijuana back to her old life and offering her a shot at justice—and a rescue mission for her captive mother.
Teaming up with three fellow escapees from Obsidian Landing, Tijuana embarks on a journey of preparation and resilience, training for the fight of their lives, the fight for freedom. As they steel themselves to reclaim their hometown and dethrone their nemesis, they must face the daunting challenge of Dexter Spite himself.
'The Tale of Obsidian Landing' is an epic testament to the invincibility of the human spirit, the undying love and bond between family, and the pursuit of justice in the face of adversity. Its characters pulsate with life, its action leaves you breathless, and its deeply moving themes resonate long after the credits roll. This is more than just a screenplay—it's an essential human narrative, appealing to audiences who find inspiration in tales of redemption and victory against all odds."

I like the poster. I think the logline will sound better if you take out the commas toward the end of the sentence:
"When a thriving Freedmen’s town is held hostage by the deranged realtor Dexter Spite, Tijuana Adams must venture back home to avenge her sheriff father and save her doctor mother."
