The Scientist who discovered the cure to COVID-19 is found murdered in Town Square Park in Cathedral City. Two police detectives will embark on a hunt, searching for clues to where he left it...before it's forever destroyed by an assassin. Someone who has a personal vendetta against the U.S. President.

SYNOPSIS:

The script begins at night with China’s brilliant geneticist running from an assassin in Town Square Park, Cathedral City. The assassin is after him because he discovered the cure to COVID-19.

The next morning, a little girl discovers his body on a bench.

The Sergeant on duty arrives. The Cathedral City Police Detective discovers that she knew the Sergeant in High School.

They go over the crime scene. Using a black-light illumination pen, they discover that the geneticist used his blood as ink.

In the City of Palm Desert Freedom Park, the assassin follows the secretary. She escapes.

At Town Square an agent from the Department of CCT Surveillance has information on the geneticist.

The Secretary arrives at her apartment to find the assassin searching for clues to where is the cure. He uses her entry key badge to go to her office.

The detectives arrives at the geneticist's office. COVID19 written on his pants is a numeric code to unlock the door. The Detective looks behind his desk, and observes a large glass cabinet. He breaks the glass and find a Holy Bible. There is a receipt. They go to where he bought it.

The assassin is up against a wall, just out of view in the hall.

The detectives arrives at the Church of Our Lady of Solitude. They meet with Father Thomas, who reveals that the geneticist’s kept looking at the display version of the Bible downstairs at the crypt.

The clue made the detectives remember the Virgin Mary Statue in his office. They run back.

There is a chemistry between the detectives. They open the door, and discover that the place is a mess. Except for the Virgin Mary statue.

The assassin watches them taking the Statue outside. He follows them. A car chase begins.

During the chase, the detectives find an item inside the statue. It is the cure to COVID-19!

They are heading to Palm Springs International Airport to fly to CDC. The chase will end at the Airport Runway. The detective will execute a pit maneuver, and sandwich the assassin’s car against patrol units.

The Commissioner arrives. Turns out that the assassin is the Commissioner’s chauffeur, and they want to destroy the cure. 1. The assassin is Asian, and he felt hurt the President called this a Chinese Virus. 2. The President will use the cure as a solution to winning the 2020 election!

A Bomb Specialist destroy the cure.

A few nights later, the detectives are on a date. See on the news that the Commissioner has been hospitalized with COVID-19.

That same night one of the detectives wake up in the middle of the night.

Together they go outside, and follow the Palm Springs Walk of Stars sidewalk. Palm Springs is adorned with hundreds of red bricks, embedded in sidewalks. They located the geneticist’s name on a brick. Dig underneath and find another metal cylinder.

As they are heading back to the hotel, the Commissioner’s driver follows them. A foot chase begins. They drop the metal cylinder in a courtyard as they are trying to escape. The Detective push the assassin over the railings. He dies.

They brake the code, and discover the cure!

The final scene is the U.S. President declaring to the World that they have discovered the vaccine to COVID-19.
