Mary is a writer struggling to come up with a good story for her editor as she journeys to a reunion; while on her way her car breaks down and she is stranded on the side of road until a mysterious cowboy named Cal offers to give her a ride. 

SYNOPSIS:

Mary gets a call from her editor saying she needs to get a story to her by tomorrow morning. Then he car breaks down and she is stranded on the side of the road. Cal, a mysterious cowboy offers her a ride. At first she is hesitant, but then agrees. While driving her his past comes back to haunt him when a ruthless thug tries to gun him down. Cal's truck goes off the road and him and Mary start running through the woods. When the thug has them at gunpoint Mary leaps to action to help Cal. A fight for the gun ensues between Cal and the Thug, but Mary hits the thug on the head with a rock and knocks him out cold. Mary and Cal have a moment of cosmic connection and then get back on the road. Cal drops her off at the reunion and tells her he will be seeing her again. Mary doesn't have writer's block anymore.
