Well, theres the Back to the Future franchise, Guardians of the Galaxy, Men in Black, Hitchikers Guide, Galaxy Quest (won a Hugo award), Chostbusters, Weird Science, Coneheads, Barbarella...
But, I see your point - it's kind of sparse compared to drama, horror, romcom, etc.
