11 year old Allison saves herself and the lives of 7 other little girls from a corrupt child trafficking orphanage of the 1950's....or....is it all in her head?
SYNOPSIS:
Allison and 7 other little girls find themselves locked away in the attic room of their corrupt orphanage . This is the "rejection room ". They were sent there, like others before them, to die of thirst and starvation . Only Allison believes there can be a way out.....through magic. She convinces them all to join her into creating their own pretend circus to allow the magic in.....and the magic does appear...it doesn't matter anymore if it's real or not.

Let's start with 'experimental'. Genre is a marketing tool used to create awareness for your brand, i.e. your stories.. Where is the experimental isle? What would I find there?

There are many formulas for loglines. I use : WHEN, the inciting incident happens, A FLAWED HERO, main character, MUST, the objective, OR ELSE, the stakes. With these components in place, you'll have a solid logline. If you'd like ot take that to the next level. Try Reverse Engineering next.
Thank you so much Shawn Speake! I used "experimental" because I envision it as a mix of 1950's cartoon, modern cartoon and live action. Is this the "isle" you mean? Again, thank you, I will try and use your formula you indicated in the second comment. It will take me a while to understand it completely.

What kind of powers does she have to get out of the situation?
Hi Susan! She only has her special empathy and imagination to transport her and the others into an alternate universe. They cannot get out. They die in this universe.
