Savage Lot  is an electric contemporary western limited series. This one hour television drama follows Josephine, a Spanish pregnant pioneer widow and Olive, a “white savage” on a grief driven revenge mission, who fall in love in a violent 1850s New Mexico territory. Along with Thurza, a feral 11 year old biracial orphan, the trio struggle to survive the perilous landscape, those who hunt them, and the secrets they keep from one another.

Open on 1850s New Mexico Territory. In the blackness of night, a wagon fire incinerates a family of missionary forty-niners. Josephine, 30s, Spanish, wails, digging in ash for remnants of her family. Thurza, an 11-year old biracial girl, who also lost her father, watches on. At sun up, Josephine holds a burial while Thurza is intent on finding provisions. Olive, 30s, a “White Savage”, fucks a french innkeeper in exchange for room and board. He demands Olive sell her wares and “get” as she’s a wanted criminal. While selling her goods, an Irish mercantile owner, Cain, his posse of idiots and adopted son, Vic, threaten to hang Olive for poaching Cain’s furs.

Thurza and Josephine take shelter. Before leaving to hunt, Thurza suggests Josephine is pregnant after a bout of vomiting on the trail. Josephine discovers her daughter’s shoes in Thurza’s pack causing a violent standoff when Thurza returns. Thurza abandons Josephine. Olive makes love to a prostitute, noticing a beaded necklace around her neck. The prostitute prattles derogatorily about a ferocious half breed with blue eyes she pinched it from. Olive guts the prostitute, taking the necklace and riding through the night.

Josephine runs into a band of Apache hunters. She hides, spotting Thurza in a tree. The two avoid discovery, realizing their bond and need for each other. The Innkeeper enlists Cain and posse to hunt Olive for butchering his prized prostitute. A band of misfits viciously massacre German pioneers. We follow behind a blood soaked boyish figure, pistol at his side. A dog nips at his heels. He stoops over a dying child reaching for a canteen. He reaches, as if to help the child, but instead uses the canteen water for the dog. A war WHOOP! He spins, shooting into camera, revealing the blue-eyed half breed Olive hunts, Gaage.

Olive trades with the Apache Hunters on the trail, giving her handmade beaded necklace (like the prostitute’s) to a young Brave. She leaves. Later, Cain and his posse attack the Braves, discovering the necklace. They slaughter all but the elder, taking him captive to track Olive. Cain demands Vic scalp a slain posse member, spurring Vic to flee. Thurza stumbles upon Vic. After a raging brawl, she gains control of his gun. She forces information from him and sends him running for the hills. Josephine insists they push towards the nearest town before danger closes in. Cain’s fury is intensified by Vic’s betrayal and a deadly premonition by the elder. Cain tortures and kills the Brave.

Cain and his posse collide with Olive on the intersecting trail. Josephine and Thurza, hidden, watch the showdown. Olive guts and blinds Cain, bringing the Brave’s premonition to fruition. Attempting to escape, Josephine and Thurza stumble into a rattlesnake den. HISSING draws Olive towards them. A snake strikes Josephine! Olive whispers to the snakes and they retreat. Thurza defends a dying Josephine against Olive. Out of options, Thurza lets Olive take her up. Fade out in a wash of white hot sunlight.
