An old world vampire moves to Boyle Heights only to have his sleep disrupted during the day by the local gang members and their music.  After attempting to appeal to the group's good sense, he is forced to reveal he is a creature of the night.  Undaunted, the crew divulges they are not a gang, but a pack of... werewolves.

SYNOPSIS:

Thang's That Go Bump In The Night is a comedy of horrors set in the backdrop of downtown L.A. with its cultural diversity in all its glory along with homeless and the downtown weirdos being far stranger than the uncanny beings running rampant through the city. The story plays out like a supernatural version of Martin Scorsese’s After Hours. These modern day werewolves are a mangy group replete with branding marks rather than tattoos, heavily pierced and razor sharp gold grills.

Silas, although in fairly good shape for 612 years-old, sports a frail frame. Think rail-thin, pale Nosferatu with the attitude of an old Jew coming out of Canter’s Deli with eyes wide open for a good meal. The vampire is prone to whining about the good old days and would have retired in Florida if he had more tolerance for the humidity.

While avoiding the pack, Silas encounters a dramatic palm reader, an ICE raid, donut obsessed cops and a group of costumed hustlers that urge him to take a picture with them which proves impossible. He also ends up desperately trying to avoid a fling with a hyper-sexual, blue-haired octogenarian dominatrix. All Silas wants is a quiet daytime sleep with a pint of O-negative.

The pack races down the L.A. River avoiding police choppers, save a friend from the La Brea Tar Pits, get caught in a food fight amongst rival food trucks, and find themselves in the middle of a music video shoot. Between all of this, balancing their demanding girlfriends and fending off a rival gang, the city proves to be just as troublesome for them as their blood sucking neighbor. Before the night is over, downtown L.A. will prove that Thang's Go Bump In The Night.
