SYNOPSIS:

n "Land of the Living," Gideon Wilson, a once-feared soldier, continues his service in death as a werewolf with a retained soul, hunting down other undead creatures. To keep his curse at bay and maintain a semblance of his former life, Gideon works for a clandestine government unit, a modern iteration of the Witch Hunter General Offices. This unit utilizes Gideon as their ultimate weapon, tasking him with the elimination of vampires, werewolves, and other creatures of the night. His existence is a solitary one, tolerated and sustained only as long as he remains useful to his handlers.

Gideon's internal conflict is ever-present as he battles to preserve his humanity while fulfilling his grim duties. His victories serve as constant reminders of the humanity he fights to retain. However, his world is turned upside down when his own side betrays him, unwittingly handing him over to a Haitian mystic with a sinister agenda. This mystic seeks to resurrect ancient gods to rule the earth once again, using Gideon as a pawn in her grand scheme.

To thwart this apocalyptic plan and reclaim his humanity, Gideon must first confront and defeat the Count, a formidable vampire who serves as the cornerstone of the undead hierarchy. This battle is not just a physical one but a test of Gideon's resolve and inner strength. Along the way, Gideon encounters Lissette, a 125-year-old Leopard spirit who becomes an unexpected ally and love interest. Their bond grows as they navigate the treacherous path of conflict, duty, and redemption together.

As Gideon and Lissette face insurmountable odds, they uncover the depth of the Haitian mystic's plans and the true extent of the threat to humanity. Gideon's journey is one of self-discovery and transformation, as he learns to balance his primal nature with his enduring humanity. In the end, it is his love for Lissette and his unwavering quest for redemption that give him the strength to overcome the darkness threatening to engulf the world.

"Land of the Living" is a tale of conflict, duty, and the eternal quest for redemption, set against the backdrop of a world teetering on the edge of apocalypse.
