The lone survivor of a plane crash must piece together a past he doesn't remember while trapped within the unreachable borders of a remote, unfamiliar land, culture and language.
SYNOPSIS:
Found near death after surviving an aeroplane crash in a remote region of Tibet, Michael struggles to recount his past in an alien land, unfamiliar culture and foreign language. Partially crippled, he has neither memory of his identity nor origins.
Discovered by Tashi and his sister, Lhamu, he is taken in by the family, who live on an almost inaccessible property alone, whilst their father works as a sherpa on Everest base camp. Here they work at restoring his health for the eventual, dangerous journey out of the valley back into civilisation.
Through vague reveries and indistinguishable memories, a parallel storyline evolves to disclose Michael’s true identity as we follow his plight to put his life back together. As he gradually begins to remember what happened between him, his wife, and his daughter, we recount the steps that led him to leave on that doomed journey.
