Written to be a fun, Bruckheimer-style Action/Drama, Elaine Tanner, a
recently widowed Mom taking care of her rebellious teenage son and her salty,
paraplegic, ex-military father finds new zeal for life when she races
her classic Corvette against the younger generation and becomes a female
"Rocky" of street racing - earning her the respected mantle of "Fast
Lane".  At the heart of this racing story is an ordinary woman who does
extraordinary things, a story of unspeakable betrayal, unlikely
friendships and alliances and truly a family story - those related by
blood and those not.

SYNOPSIS:

After her husbands' funeral, 40 year old Elaine Tanner, a woman at odds with her paraplegic father and angry young son, with nothing left to lose, takes her husbands' classic Corvette Stingray out on the road, where she is accidentally resurrected into a new life in an unconventional arena: on the night streets of Los Angeles, where she rediscovers her strengths and new passions as she becomes a female "Rocky" of street racing and battles against a human-trafficking crime boss.
