SYNOPSIS:

Separated from his crew and sent trillions of light-years from Earth, NASA Commander Ulysses "Ollie" Dylos finds himself stranded in a sector populated by a highly-advanced race inspired by post-Bronze Age Ancient Greece who draw their creation from the tales of Ancient Greek mythology.

Background:

Calling themselves Hellecians, this species' way of life revolves around Cosmic Aurora: the plasmatic essence of creation, inherited by the Gods after killing their parents and claiming hegemony over their subjects in this sector.

After eons of neglect and abuse by the hands of the Olympians (as we know them), the four tribes of Hellecians rose up with weapons and ships powered by refined Cosmic Aurora known as COAG.

And murdered the Pantheon along with all Demi-gods, minor deities and any one who could wield Cosmic Aurora like the Gods.

Establishing the Final Hegemony over the sector, the four tribes took up the roles of the Gods using this new technology.

Splitting up the authority and tradition of countless planets under what is now called the four Patrokonoi-Hellecia - modeling the four most predominant tribes of Ancient Greek dialects (Athenians as The Delothian Collective, Spartans as The Lanaxdrian Warrior States, Aeolians as The Guilds of Professional Aeonite Craftspeople & Ionians as The Ionite Flotilla of Space-Faring Colonists).

Over time however, The influence between the four began to shift in favor of the Delots and their central judicial protocols known as DTOS as war began to loom on the horizon.

Series Premise:

The series begins when Ollie Dylos wakes up in this strange sector and is separated from his crew of the Argo-Nine; including his ex-wife Penny Pavona.

Trapped on a Delot prison planet: Ilocanos-7, Ollie must return home with Penny and his crew with the help of:

AJ - Ollie's long lost friend whose incredible strength and shattered memories drive him to find answers about his past and Eucidrie: a snarky, humanoid made of seaweed fugitive who searches for her lost sister Gailene...one Ollie may have been responsible for losing.

However, Fate has other plans.

Discovering a fragment of his past, AJ discovers he's the prince of Ilocanos-7 whose Lost Aurora Crown was stolen by the gods. Given his new purpose, AJ will search for his lost crown while accepting his other birthright as Commander-Ultimos of the legendary ship: The Psygorellius.

The trio is tasked with assembling a new generation of world less heroes known as the Psygonauts.

The Psygonauts will explore new worlds (inspired by Ancient Greek mythology) and find ways to reunify to prevent an intergalactic Peloponnesian War that will surely send the universe back into the void from which it came.

From episode-to-episode, the trio and the rotating crew of The Psygorellius will travel to a new planet where they will meet/study/assist the local population with a problem inspired by "The Odyssey", "Jason and The Golden Fleece", other works of Greek mythology or science fiction.

This would also be a way to explore the inner-workings of this universe and how each new population they encounter adapts to the death of Gods and how it affects their ways of life.

Which leads into the theme of the series: the effects of taking away a culture's central figures of authority and tradition. And whether we're better off with or without a singular source of morality.

For what Gods or Heroes can save a people determined to destroy themselves?
