A college track star must expose a serial killer hiding within a fleet of Amazon-esqe delivery vans to avenge her murdered sister.
SYNOPSIS:
Born in Drafford, Illinois, Allison Drewitt dreamed to be a track star like her big sister Ida. Regardless of her faulty heart valve.
Following a school yard race where Allison nearly died of heart failure, if her timid best friend Andy Hunt hadn't saved her. Ida died under mysterious circumstances, surrounding a black envelope and a Delivery Affiliate from Velger: an Amazon-esqe delivery company (Velger=Norwegian for "chooser").
15 years after the incident: Allison went on to become a successful college track star (like her sister). While visiting her changing hometown, she got accepted into the company's life-changing "Chosen One" program: an exclusive premium membership where customers with an approved application can join a network that turn anyone into a success.
Unwilling to have anything to do with Velger, Allison discovers The Affiliate who killed her sister is still in Drafford as a Delivery Affiliate for the company.
Riding along with Andy Hunt, on duty as a field ops manager for one of Velger's fleet of delivery vans - Four-H Logistics on Drafford's Founder's Day fair. Allison searches for her sister's killer only to be sucked down a rabbit hole of intrigue surrounding Gram Drafford: the missing son of the town's founding family and Velger.
