A teen Rockstar and her entourage become stranded in a remote forest when their tour bus breaks down, only to be hunted by a masked psycho who inexplicably sings before each kill.
SYNOPSIS:
Teen rockstar EMBER SPARX embarks on a debut concert tour with her all-male band, JAX, TRENTON, and STONE, eager to prove her independence despite her parents disapproval.
One night, en route to their next gig, their lavish tour bus breaks down in a remote forest. A hulking masked figure, DEADHEAD, attacks, having hitched a ride in their trailer. He cuts off their 911 calls and disables the bus, forcing them to barricade inside. Ember withdraws into shock while the band makes desperate attempts for help: screaming into an amplified microphone, burning a smashed guitar as a signal flare, and painting "HELP US!" on the windows with Ember's glow-in-the-dark hairspray. But nothing works.
Deadhead picks the guys off one by one in grisly fashion, quoting cryptic lyrics before each kill. The lyrics turn out to be from an unreleased song Ember wrote, leading the band to suspect her. Ember denies knowing Deadhead, but the truth comes to light when she’s the last survivor: Deadhead is BENTON, a childhood classmate whose lyrics she stole to launch her career.
Forced to fight, Ember blinds and deafens Benton using stage equipment, then kills him. As Police arrive, Stone, barely alive, confronts Ember, demanding a cut of her royalties. To protect her secret, Ember quickly suffocates him. Police assume Benton killed Stone as Ember is whisked away in an Ambulance, her fame intact.
