"Black couple, a White couple, an interracial married couple and a crazy old man have their lives turned upside down when the entire world turns inside out. They combat their own views on race and humanity as their lives clash in tragedy."

SYNOPSIS:

While two families search for the American dream of home ownership (the Black couple seeking a home away from the ghetto -- the white family looks to refinance their home to open a business), one family is denied while the other is approved. After a flash of light, most of the businesses and home environment favors Black Americans.

The White couple runs into the tragedy of a lack of resources through various phases while the Black couple experiences an influx of wealth, meanwhile, the crazy old man, who is White, tells the world, 'we will never be equal'.

As the people navigate through their lives and learn about their differences another all-reaching tragedy occurs (an explosion at an event paying tribute to female business leaders), and the people work past their differences to help each other.

Another flash of light occurs and all of the people wake up in the Holbrook Center for Cultural Understanding in a medical program designed to eradicate racism. we learn later that the crazy old man is in fact, the inventor of the program. The story ends with a doctor that addresses the viewer and congratulates them for their participation.
