SYNOPSIS:
The story begins with four wealthy wives of a city's prominent businessmen who assemble at a party in their honors for their philanthropy efforts in the city. After a speech by Murray, it is announced that Mary, April, Yvette and Loraine will be pampered on a luxury vacation on his yacht. All four of the women mingle with guests when it is learned that all of the women do not get along; Mary, the oldest member of the group was replaced by Yvette, the newest, prettiest and youngest member of the group.
Barbara, the Accounts Manager meets the women in a limousine in front of each house. Each woman travels to the airport where they board a private jet. On the plane ride, the women discuss their issues but agree to get along to expand their philantrophy interests upon their return. When they arrive at the port, they board a luxurious boat; they are surprised by a scantily dressed male crew and Barbara who takes the women out to sea.
Back at home, the men discuss their failing businesses and Murray offers their solution; to put life insurance policies on the women only for them to be lost at sea. The men agree to the plan.
Out to sea, the women are treated like queens while Barbara jokingly cautions them not to get too raunchy. Everyone, including Barbara get into a sexy dance mix with the crew and scream in delight A helicopter arrives near the yacht and Barbara informs the women that she must return for a business matter and what occurs on the boat, stays on the boat. The women cheer as Barbara boards the helicopter and the party ramps up.
The boat arrives at a small island with cottages. The women depart and are met there by Barbara and four armed hunters, led by Murray's friend Cliff. Barbara tells the women that they will be hunted down and killed; they will truly be 'trophy wives'. The women run off with Mary the first to die in a man-trap set by the hunters prior to the women's arrival. The women hide from the hunters and avoid traps as they make their way back to the boat's office. Yvette hacks into Murray's computer and learns the truth. The women learn in horror as we see that the men had meetings where the businesses were all going under and the only way to recover was a large payout; the insurance policies that the husbands took out more than cover the company losses and their lifestyles.
The hunters stalk back toward the boat and the women escape to the opposite side of the island where they locate a small boat in the distance. After turning the tables and setting a trap for Barbara and the hunters, April, Yvette and Loraine make their way to the boat. Just as they get to the boat, Barbara and the hunters reach them and shoot April in the foot with an arrow. They watch in shock as Loraine takes an arrow in the chest. Barbara triggers the trap and the area erupts in fire and Barbara is blasted, along with the hunters. April and Yvette get in the row boat as the fire spreads to the main generator cottage. In the flames, Barbara stands with a crossbow and prepares for a shot. Barbara is shot by Loraine who in her last breath raises a crossbow from the ground and the women escape in the little boat. A huge explosion occurs on the island that destroys everything but the yacht. In the explosion, the flare gun falls into the water which drifts off further away toward the currents which churn up a school of piraña fish. The women see the cruise liner in the distance and Yvette dives overboard for the flare gun. She tosses it to April as the fish take her under.
When she arrives home, April sets the men up to appear that Murray confessed and committed suicide. April leaves in the sunset on Murray's yacht with her sister and millions of dollars in an account.
FADE OUT.
