When Scarlet, a smart, witty, but naïve lawyer, flees Los Angeles because her boss is missing, she winds up in Santa Fe with her free-spirited sister, Violet, where she is forced to spend time with her ex-boyfriend, Jake. Scarlet moves in with Violet, who lives with her girlfriend, Erin and roommates, Gabe and Freddy.
