THE PILOT

It's 1990 something. We are in a jam-packed concert venue and thirty thousand fans are screaming one name - JORDAN HAMMER, as he performs with the boy band Harmony.

Cut to 25 years later, the venue is now a mall with daytime shoppers. Things are not going well for Jordan. After his record label drops him and his wife leaves him, Jordan finds himself alone, in financial ruin, squatting in his own house.

Soon evicted, Jordan returns to his humble hometown and moves into his dad's basement. He runs into Kelsey Swords, his high school girlfriend that he ghosted years ago. Her life long ago moved on, but there might still be 'something' there worth rekindling.

Jordan decides that the best way to get back what he lost is put the boy band back together. Along the way, he'll have to face his demons and swallow his pride time after time.

SERIES OVERVIEW - This show is about hubris and the price of success. We follow the mostly downs of a mid-life crisis musician, trying to get back what he lost along the way to fame.

The A story follows Jordan as he tries to reconcile with his past and make amends with friends, family, and his town.

The B story is a rekindled romance, as Jordan and Kelsey become friends again; perhaps more.

The C Story is a flashback story, telling how Harmony rose, fell, and then Jordan's solo career. We see Jordan and Kelsey's relationship through his meteoric rise and subsequent fall from stardom.
