Overview:

Drawing from the rich comic book superhero stories and integrating them with the classic monster stories, Spiralmind strives to create a new world full of adventure, romance, and fantastical creatures. At the core of this world is the Spiralmind. It is a quantum energy that can send the chosen few through time-dimensional portals. In this classic tale of good versus evil, an engineer will set out on an adventure to discover he is the world’s last hope.

Characters:

SPIRALMIND/Ben Landry – a scientist who discovers that he has hidden powers within himself to battle supernatural evil.

Allison Wirth – the love interest of Ben Landry who helps him discover his inner strength. She is fierce and highly intelligent.

Rabbi Sol Rotblatt – a mentor and friend to Ben who helps Ben in his battle against evil.

Father Tom O’Brien – he runs the orphanage and helped raise Ben Landry after his mother passed away.

Governor Dante Evans – the governor and near perfected Nephilim. He’s cunning and possesses supernatural energies. He leads the cabal of demons.

The Nephilim – the hybrids of humans and demons.

Pitch:

ACT ONE

Taking place in the fictional city of Nineveh, a rabbi is called to perform an exorcism. It is the same demon that destroyed the scientist’s mother. The scientist, Ben Landry, is now grown and has assumed the alter-ego called SPIRALMIND. The demon has assembled an evil faction whose goal is to destroy SPIRALMND's world one aspect at a time.

ACT TWO

The demon has assigned Dante Evans to lead the cabal. Dante Evans understands that for the Nephilim to return without suspicion or prejudice, that the human genome must be altered. This purpose is simple, if the human genome is changed to a different form, then the Nephilim will be looked upon as heroes and Governor Dante Evans will be called upon as their ruler.

Governor Dante Evans knows that his plan cannot succeed while SPIRALMIND is free to roam the earth. Dante devises a simple ruse, remove Ben Landry's friends, mentors, and true love, and force him to confront Dante on Dante's terms. Dante succeeds in not only breaking Ben Landry's outer circle (his friends), his inner circle (his girlfriend) but the very core which gives him the power to be SPIRALMIND. Dante breaks the spiralmind itself, the connection to build the time-wormhole portals.

ACT THREE

With Allison's comfort and care, he deals with the death of his mother. He rebuilds the spiralmind, battles the powerful demon of his past, and returns to confront Dante Evans to save his friends and mentors. SPIRALMIND saves his friends and mentors, but Dante kills Allison Wirth and completes his wicked plan. SPIRALMIND is then faced with a powerful dilemma, use the spiralmind time-wormhole portal to enter Hell and bring back Allison Wirth from the dead or save the earth from ruin.

SPIRALMIND chooses to enter Hell and rescue Allison Wirth.
