A NIGHT ON THE TOWN

A NIGHT ON THE TOWN
By Tim Barley

GENRE: Thriller, Action
LOGLINE:

After years of fortune and fame, Martin's time is up. But, when the Devil returns for the soul of the Hollywood star, he comes bearing a unique and unexpected offer that turns the night into a whirlwind of unrestrained debauchery, peril and literal soul searching that neither was expecting.

SYNOPSIS:

When legendary Hollywood producer Martin Sterling struck a Faustian bargain, he never expected the Devil himself to return, showing up in an impeccably tailored suit, and offering him a one-night-only deal: a night of unbridled debauchery, self-reflection, and a chance to save his own soul. But as the two embark on an outrageous journey through Los Angeles’ seediest underbelly—from exclusive awards night parties to gritty dive bars—Martin discovers he’s not the only one being tested.

Hot on their heels is Azazel, a ruthless demon with her own ambition to dethrone Lucifer and seize control of Hell. As she relentlessly pursues them, Martin and Lucifer are forced to team up, dodging literal hellfire and facing an army of Martin’s disgruntled exes, angry creatives he’s wronged, and, perhaps worst of all, his own inner demons. In this twisted, neon-lit romp through Hollywood excess, Martin must confront the dark truths he’s buried and decide what his soul—and his legacy—are truly worth. It's a wickedly funny and unexpectedly heartfelt tale of temptation, redemption, and the strange friendship that emerges when even the Devil finds himself in awe of humanity’s worst—and best—traits.

A tad too vague on what the night turns out to be. What's in store?

Tim Barley

Brad, thanks! I've been rehashing it in my head. I'll work on it and have something new soon.

Rutger Oosterhoff

My take would be "let's switch places-- I'm bored of this job--did it for eons. For once I want to be a star -- be appreciated." But even without that take -- 5 stars.

Rutger, that's been done before. But, it's kind of close.

... Great -- looks like your original!!

Tim Barley

Thank you, everyone!! Still working on tone - really dark comedy or fantasy drama, so no synopsis yet (want to start that one out better).
