SYNOPSIS:

It is 1918 in London. The Great War has just ended and the world breathes a sigh of relief. However, for one young man, Jack Braun, the world has ended with the death of his beloved father. Jack's war has just begun. The eighteen year old young man begins to buckle under the weight of grief, family dysfunction, broken dreams, unrequited love,

and...demonic manipulation. The stakes are nothing less than his soul and the souls of those he loves.

Meanwhile, two demons are joined by an intriguing list of fictional and historical characters including Charles Williams, William Butler Yeats, Evelyn Underhill, J.R.R. Tolkien, A.E. Waite, C.S. Lewis , and “the most wicked man in the world”, Aleister Crowley. Interlacing character paths begin to bring to light the intensifying undercurrent that eventually leads to an even bloodier World War and the final destination of these desperate souls.
