Interesting, especially knowing that part of the American brench of my family were Cuckoo -- freely translated: Christian Scientists. But refocus on your logline. It only works if this family IS responsible for the killings, and the reader/audience is set on the wrong foot thinking this ?loving? family isn't what they they're taken for, hey, they can' t be that bad!... Can they? And then, 3/4 in to the novie... Oh SH.T, they ARE!!

Rutger Oosterhoff I really appreciate your feedback when I get it!! So this one is a series as well -- I have four seasons kind of loosely mapped out. The twist here is that the "family," the group named Anoesis, starts off being portrayed as very innocent and wholesome, and there's a secret group that's formed on the inside who is initially portrayed as just inherently evil, and they're the ones responsible for the murders. Then as the first season goes on, the moral lines start to get blurred and we don't have a real solid righteous side anymore. It's a concept I'm definitely struggling to condense into a logline.

Cool perspective. Didn't see that coming, Kudos!
