SYNOPSIS:

Back in 1967, Toby Reed was a shoe-in for the Heisman Trophy and a first round NFL draft pick. But a cheap shot end zone hit steals both prizes, leaving him physically broken and spiritually spent. But enough people believe in him that he finds a new path in life, unexpected love and a talent he never knew he had. So when tensions from the Vietnam War, impending final exams and youthful freedom collide against the background of tens of thousands of student spring breakers in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Toby is witness to a critical turning point in the contentious decade of the Sixties and defines his path for the coming years.
