A tough, soft-hearted PI/Paralegel must use both qualities to save her former bosses - two disgraced Chicago lawyers - to save a homeless mission from a mob lawyer's need to launder his ill-gotten money.

When top Chicago law firm, Baldwin & Colquitt (The Boys), is reduced to chasing ambulances, The Boys end up one the street and homeless. Now, the mob lawyer who rigged the verdict in their big arson case is intent on laundering his ill-gotten gains by building high rise offices and condos on the site of a historic Halsted Street Mission.

When The Boys to wilt under the mob lawyer's hardball tactics, the firm's tough-as-nails, trash-talking, former PI/Paralegal, Carmen, tells her former bosses to grow a pair and goes after the mob lawyer on her own. Now, the only thing stopping the corrupt lawyer is B&C, the rest of the colorful mission regulars, and Carmen, who packs heat, swears like a longshoreman and brawls like a strip club bouncer. This holy band of misfits is all that stands between the Mission and nearly impossible odds.
