Cassie, a bored housewife gets more than she bargained for when a devious murderer she has been writing to in prison manages to make way his way to her doorstep after escaping incarceration.

SYNOPSIS:

Cassie Warner, a bored housewife is encouraged by her best friend Beth Smith to spice up her life by starting a romance with Jackson Keller, a descent prison inmate. Still stung by her husband's past infidelity, Cassie allows the letter-writing romance to flourish thinking Jackson still has 12 years to go on a vehicular homicide sentence.

After a court appeal sets Jackson up for early release, fellow inmate Denny Gates hatches a brutal and cunning plan to escape and take his place, then consummate the romance with Cassie.

When Denny arrives unannounced during a garden pool party, Cassie is horrified but Beth further pushes her to cheat on her husband.

As elements of Denny's personality clash with her perception of Jackson, Cassie gets cold feet. Full of guilt, Cassie decides to come clean with her husband but a confrontation with all of them turns deadly when Cassie learns Denny isn't who he says he is and Beth, isn't as innocent as she appears.
