By Alexander Rosenstein

GENRE: Action
LOGLINE:

Urban East Coast newlyweds purchase what turns out to be a winning lottery ticket on their honeymoon trip through West Virginia, are immersed in the diverse essence of untamed Appalachia, and are oblivious to being pursued by two murderous feuding gangs with deep historical roots.

SYNOPSIS:

A newlywed couple on the way to a resort in West Virginia perches what turns out to be a winning lottery ticket. The news of the yet unclaimed prize reaches feuding descendants of Hetfield and McCoy clans. Throughout the pilot, the lustful couple is oblivious to being pursued by rival gangs.

This is a story about two millennials: a bride who became an FBI field agent instead of joining a lucrative law practice and a groom who abandons a promising trauma surgery career to have a chance for a lasting marriage and hope to raise a family.

A honeymoon against the backdrop of incredible scenery and the alluring history of Appalachia is interrupted by encounters with wildlife and lifesaving efforts.

The pilot ends at a cliffhanger with both gangs poised to attack the newlyweds.

In subsequent episodes, the romantic getaway quickly turns into an action-filled adventure and a desperate fight for survival. In the process, the newlyweds discover unexpected revelations about themselves and each other.
