LOGLINE:

A successful career woman reflects back on her turbulent trials and tribulations of her past. Her family, friends, work acquaintances and other diversified people she encounters along the way fortify her downfalls and rises as she grabs hold of her mental health issues and a whole new identity. Securing the roadway to her success was a matter of life and death.

SYNOPSIS:

Claire Victorinne has it all; the perfect job as a successful Producer and now first time Director in the hottest town in the state of California, a comfortable steady relationship with the person who understands her as well the love and security of the small close circle of friends and family she trusts.

On the eve of her first film premiere, Claire steps out onto the red carpet and immediately stops for a reporter for a picture and a quick interview:

Reporter: Ms. Victorinne, how does it feel to have a turnout this massive for your first ever Directorial Production?

Claire: Honestly.... It still feels as if this is all a dream.

Reporter: I can imagine. Tell me... how did you come to reach this level of success? With your work history, it's no stranger that your vision comes from somewhere.

Claire: Well...it's funny you should say that...

( A beam of light flashes as we are transported back in time; Opening with a view of the South Boston Waterfront pier skyline at twilight we pan in close to see a young girl sitting by the dock with an empty stare and tears in her eyes overlooking the harbor )

Sam (a young teen boy comes running): Hey Ella, what are you doing over there?

( Our audience comes to realize, Claire... does not exist)
