SYNOPSIS:
This glossy modern feature film exposes the web of corruption in the corporate world. It features Busi Mzolo, an intelligent Black Chartered Accountant woman who is hired to end corruption in the Supply Chain Division of a blue-chip, stock exchange listed company, Loxidy Technologies.
In the course of her work, she discovers the rot of corruption in the company and is caught between exposing corruption and fixing corruption without exposing it. Her profession requires that she reports corruption, however her personality stands in the way as she struggles with confronting issues.
When the Head of Sourcing realises that Busi is close to exposing his corrupt activities, he, with the help of a corrupt internal Forensic Investigator, fabricate corruption charges against Busi, which leads to her being dismissed from her job and being stripped her CA(SA) designation.
Being outside the company, with no access to her laptop, Busi succumbs to dishonesty as she is in a tight corner to prove her innocence. Busi derives means to access the company building in order to gather evidence.
She is met with various struggles along the way, which makes it difficult for her to prove her innocence. She is tempted to give up but every time she feels despondent, she finally manages to motivate herself to give it one more try, until she, with the help of her ex-husband, successfully exposes the rot of corruption in the company.
As a result, investor confidence in the company increases, the share price hits a record-breaking increase and 1 500 employees are saved from being retrenched.
