After witnessing a viral police brutality video, a Southern city responds to racial unrest as a local news station seems to only make things worse.

SYNOPSIS:

During the summer of 2020, a social media competition is held by a local news station to hire two recently unemployed locals for an innovative midnight news program meant to represent the community's differing social and political beliefs without censorship.

All comes to a screeching halt when a viral video of police brutality makes its way to an African American anchor, who reflects the passion and purpose of the protestors while his Caucasian colleague tends to side with the perpetrators of the violence.

Both men navigate how to deal with the other while maintaining their own connections to the community, using their platforms for change, and put their lives on the line for what they believe.
