SYNOPSIS:

At the age of 14, Olivia becomes the victim of an attempted rape. In the course of self-defense, she kills a man. 11-year-old Anna, accidentally being nearby, makes several compromising photos of Olivia. During the investigation, Olivia falls under suspicion, but only Sergeant Teresa considers her guilty. Olivia skillfully destroyed the main evidence. A visiting trucker is an outsider in a small town, and a police lieutenant considers Olivia just a child. Olivia tricks Anna into giving drugs instead of money. Anna agrees, not knowing that they are heavy. Olivia takes the gold and cash from the library, which she hid in books. Anna's dog dies, which is why Anna takes an increased dose of drugs. Her parents accompany Olivia to college, but the girl has everything in her bag to escape from them. Anna dies of an overdose.
