Set in 1976 Rhodesia, The Zimbabwean Demon follows Fadzai Khumalo, an orphan raised in Jewish traditions who unknowingly marries into a demonic cult through her husband, Buyanga. After noticing strange occurrences at their wedding, Fadzai confronts Buyanga, sparking violence and leading to her escape. Fleeing to South Africa, she gives birth to their son, Taurai, who inherits supernatural powers. Fearful of his growing darkness, Fadzai manipulates him into killing his father, hoping to gain control over his power. This betrayal strains their relationship and draws the attention of the Devil, who abducts Taurai and kills him as punishment for Fadzai's defiance. Devastated, she seeks redemption through her Jewish faith, confronting the complexities of motherhood while battling demonic forces. Fadzai is ultimately sent back in time to stop an ancient demonic pact, offering her a chance to reunite with her son in Heaven.
