The carefree world of a house cat changes with the arrival of a rambunctious new rescue dog and the realization of what could happen if he is sent back.

SYNOPSIS:

OMAR AND JIMMY, is an animated short about the relationship between, OMAR, a house cat, and the newly arrived puppy, JIMMY, a rescue dog. Jimmy is a handful. Omar realizes that if things don’t change Jimmy will get sent back to the shelter and its dire consequences. Omar, realizing he “can’t do dog”, enlists the help of the next door neighbor dog, RYLIE, to train Jimmy.

Despite their successful efforts Omar discovers that the owners have decided to return Jimmy. Thinking he is doing the right thing Omar loses Jimmy in a forest to fend for himself. Jimmy eventuallyfinds his way home to find it in flames. Jimmy jumps into action in time to save his owners and Omar and firmly establishes his place in the household.
