Election night, 2008, the state of Colorado has just rejected Amendment Seven (A7), defeating gay marriage. Jonathan, a pastor, and David, the gay activist for the amendment, renew their relationship and try to find common ground amid the election fall-out. People close to them, on each side of the issue, are affected tragically. Is anyone innocent?
