When former gang member drops out of his gang and disappears without a trace, the new love of his life finds herself working with a medium, ghost hunters, a detective and an FBI agent try to find him before it's too late.

SYNOPSIS:

Kevin, a hardened Black Diamond gang member, meets the love of his life when he enters a bar. He decides in that instant that he needs to leave the gang in order to make a life with her. Lisa falls in love with him the minute he saves her on the dance floor from a drunken Elvis wanna-be.

In order to leave the gang, Kevin must make one last heroin deal in the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky area. Riding his motorcycle in the middle of the night at a higher speed than planned, a cop begins a chase that leads the thug into a city district, where he planned on hiding in the crowd, Jack Reacher style. He realizes it’s too late, and pulls the bike over, praying the cop doesn’t find his stash. If he’s slick enough, he can talk his way out of anything, right?

Wrong! Kevin gets arrested, and after hours of interrogation, he finally agrees to turn states evidence about his band of brothers in order to be the kind of man that Lisa deserves. Not wanting to take Lisa away from her family, he turns down the witness protection program. He believes he will be safe from the Black Diamonds. After all, they are family…

Wrong again! Along the way, the leader of the gang, Rondell, gets arrested and puts out a bounty on Kevin’s head. Rondell’s faithful followers track him down, living up to the leaders expectations. — After forgetting his Valentine’s day gift, Kevin hops on his bike and heads to the nearest convenience store in hopes of buying flowers. The two faithful's show up as he is leaving, pulling him into the dark space on the back side of the store. He is never heard from again.

Not wanting to believe the worst, Lisa ‘feels’ his presence around her, and cannot figure out why he didn’t come home. She wonders if he ran for cover from the gang, left her to keep her safe, or even worse…maybe he’s dead. With no way to calm her mind, she opens the search on her phone, and decides to contact a Medium to try to find some answers. She doesn’t know what else to do.

Through the medium, Madame Freya, she meets three ghost hunters, and FBI agent, and the cop that originally arrested Kevin. Together, with FBI secret approval, they form a clandestine unit to try to solve cold cases that the FBI have turned their backs on. The team begins its search for him, using techniques that include scrying, seances, ghost hunting machinery, and simple police investigation. It takes all of those involved to try to piece together what happened that fateful Valentine’s night.

After months of failed attempts to find him, they come to realize…Dead Men Do Tell Tales.
