All of the murderous Colombian legendary monsters suddenly appear in a poor, remote area and cause the farmers to flee, until a duo of Americans solve the mystery and defeat the evil company that has engineered the scam in order to acquire the land.

SYNOPSIS:

A mysterious collection of all of the Colombian horror legends have seemingly come to life in a remote area of Boyaca, centering around a valley full of poor farmers and indigenous tribes. Violence, kidnapping, disappearances, and horrific murders escalate to a fever pitch, and it is up to an American scientist and his lover to figure out the bizarre puzzle of why this is happening, save the valley, stop the perpetrators, and rescue an endangered plant that can cure cancer before evil forces can flood the area.

Background: With on-the–ground Colombian local experts and co-written with internationally known anti-cartel and anti-trafficking expert Robert Arce, we created this unique horror/psychological drama screenplay, using actual business addresses and historically unique sites that create a high production value/low budget combination. The Boyaca area of Colombia where the plot is set is free from cartel activity, so it is safe to film there, and local contacts are interested in arranging grants from the authorities that dramatically lower the cost.
