When a young, creative and idealistic  doctor of modest means sees a job advertisement to escort a wealthy aristocrat on a Grand Tour he must battle his past, his present, his culture, and come face to face with it's forgotten terrors. 

Part Historic Biopic, Epic with mild horror. 

SYNOPSIS:

Part of a trilogy with to Dante and Lizzie and Highgate Post Mortem. I want Chalamet in this and Highgate for many reasons the attached picture of the doctor by Gainsford being one. Script includes original work by John Polidori and an entirely new story.

Officially Selected for the New York Script Awards. I have also approached Scorsese and top 5 studios.

The Vampyre, which is at goldenrod draft stage and trying to finance along with other films. It contains an adaptation of the first modern vampire story. It has a letter of comfort from the BFI and therefore could qualify as a British film for tax purposes if needed. It's my IP and I am looking for finance and coproduction.

A prequel feature film to Dante and Lizzie and before Spin off Highgate (TV pilot, game idea and possible third feature). (Have 3-5 series of ideas for episodes of tv series and a computer game outlined.).

I would like Timothée Chalamet, who has the sensitivity but also an uncanny resemblance in the lead.

It is part historic biopic, part mild horror and details the life of John Polidori the author of the first modern vampire story. It is partially based on a true story and the main character John Polidori / Giovanni.

Polidori was not initially credited for the story and died at 25.

It links to Dante and Lizzie and the (mild horror) tv spin off and contains a separate and entirely new vampire story set in Tuscany and incorporates some ideas from my 15 year old Daughter and co-creator Sheba Luckie.

I intend on retaining a financial interest in all of them and have promised a small percentage share of any profits I make to various relevant causes. Including setting up a trust in John Polidori’s name.

I would like to cast several actors in key roles and aim to also cast in the tv series and Dante and Lizzie.

(Apart from Chalamet,Robert De Niro etc, Pacino, Scotti, Lily-Rose Depp. I have approached Scorsese). I have an actor attached in principle already, A potential child actor, and locations in set hero.

There are other actors as well as these and others in mind for Dane and Lizzie.

About me:

I am a former International journalist and photojournalist(inc conflict) who used to live in Malindi, Kenya where I photographed under my middle names as Alex Cabrini and had a company. (Yes I have written a memoir and am currently adapting to film).

I have worked in print, photo and broadcast journalism I am a former International journalist – including print, photo and broadcast and Marketing Manager including on Games Mags. I have an M.A, in International journalism from City University and specialised in conflict.

I also write creatively. I have now branched out into film and Marketing Manager including on Games Mags. I also write creatively. I have now branched out into film

I have founded Lightning Bolt Films Limited in London in order to facilitate and coproduce this.
