In 1990, winning a city-wide Dungeons & Dragons tournament is the last hope for two twelve year-old best friends trying to stay together after the death of a parent, but when a demi-god sorceror from another universe unleashes real magic into this unsuspecting world, the boys and their friends have to level-up to face these new magical threats.
