WOLF IN KIDS PAJAMAS

WOLF IN KIDS PAJAMAS
By Sabrina Mansfield

GENRE: Family, Comedy
LOGLINE: It's hard adapting to a new place when you're a tween with an independent spirit and an annoying little brother … especially when you’re a werewolf.

SYNOPSIS:

12-year-old Milo and his 10-year-old brother, Bernie are polar opposites. Milo is athletic, popular, handsome and tough - Bernie does magic tricks and is as cute as they come. So when they find out they have to share a room in their new house (and there’s barely enough room in the closet for Bernie’s costumes) their argument turns into a brawl until ... SURPRISE! - they “wolf out” revealing that the Gibsons are a family of werewolves. They had to move to keep Bernie safe (Bernie is so different because he was adopted; he is not the ferocious type, but is much softer and cuddlier sort).Milo understands - but he is still upset because he wants to be with his pack where he belongs; he’s worried he won’t fit in at his new school and be the top dog like he used to be.

On the first day of middle school, Milo makes some goofy & unfortunate attempts to fit in. He thinks he’s finally getting somewhere though when the most popular kid invites him to a sleepover! But on the big night, he realizes his knowledge of normal human behavior isn’t so great and he makes some embarrassing blunders. He takes a break to collect himself and discovers that Bernie has been watching him from outside the house the whole time. Milo is furious and wolfs out big time! To keep from being discovered, Bernie has to distract Milo’s friends with a grand magic trick that disguises Milo until he’s back into human form. In the end, Milo is appreciative of Bernie's help to keep their family secret - but will this show of brotherly love last?
