SYNOPSIS:

RYDER, a 4-year-old Yorkshire Terrier but “almost 30” in human years questions his dog pal CANNON about humans and their displays of love. JULIE, an interior designer and Ryder's owner, speaks with her new client, CAMERON about the designs for his new apartment. At work, Cameron brainstorms new marketing strategies with his team and gets hit on by QUILL, a sexually charged playboy. On the way home, Quill falls down the stairs of an opening in a storefront! Julie's boyfriend, NELSON, persuades her to leave Ryder on their “night-in” to go to a concert. Jealous of Julie’s relationship, Ryder concocts a plan to get rid of Nelson which ends in tragedy and sends him to the afterlife. SERENA, Ryder’s guardian angel tells Ryder she will send him back to Julie and tasks him with making two people fall in love by Christmas to earn his place in Heaven. Though, Ryder is shocked when he wakes up and sees Cameron near his bedside, realizing that Serena has put his soul into Quill who has been in a coma for a week!

Can Ryder/Quill convince Julie of his true identity and complete his Heavenly assignment?
