In a not-too-distant steampunk future, where people who can craft dreams are feared and exploited, a compliant dreamcaster is forced to flee the Government's brutal Enforcers when she's falsely accused of murdering a prominent Senator with a death dream.
SYNOPSIS:
The World: People with special ‘subliminal’ abilities struggle under a repressive government in near-future, steampunk Pittsburgh.
Dani works as a dutiful dreamcaster for a huge corporation, studying to pass the test to become a Level 2 Dreamcaster. But when he's accused of trying to murder a prominent Senator, the life she's mapped out is ripped apart and she must go on the run to avoid the brutal Enforcers tracking her down.
Through a sci-fi lens, this series explores the themes of identity, morality and the price of freedom in an increasingly authoritarian world.

Hi, Heather L McQuaid. Unique concept. What's the Dreamcaster's goal?

Hi Maurice Vaughan just saw this message now. Her goal is to survive, not get caught by the government. I have a new logline that better answers your excellent question.

Hi, Heather L McQuaid. How are you doing? Hope things are great.
I don't remember the last series logline, but I like your new one. I think the second part of the logline could use some work though.
Based on your comment, how about one of these loglines:
"When a compliant librarian who can craft dreams is accused of murdering a prominent Senator, she flees to avoid being executed by the government's brutal Enforcers."
"When a compliant librarian who can craft dreams is accused of murdering a prominent Senator, she flees to avoid being executed by brutal government Enforcers that are tracking her."
Also, does she have an overall series goal besides surviving/not getting caught by the government? Like taking down the government? If so, you might want to put that in the series logline.

Thanks Maurice Vaughan , think I"ll add "the Government's brutal enforcers" as that's the most concise. :).
A lot more happens in the series. She becomes a blackmarket dreamcaster, re-unites with the mother who abandoned her (and who is now the rebel leader) finds out the Senator is her father, she's captured by the Government forces and if offered a deal--use her powers to help her father become the US president. Big showdown at the end, she barely survives, and is changed forever-- she embraces her frightening power and christens herself Melinoe (based on the goddess of dreams and nightmares). So, yeah, I need to prioritise what goes in the series logline. :)
Thanks again for reading and suggesting.
