Hi, Simon. I'm not sure what "When the M&M gang is doomed to melt away forever by a phoney candy maker" means.

It basically means M&M chocolates will no longer be around. The iconic chocolate is well known for it's the only sweet that doesn't melt in your hands, hence now "they melt away" no longer exist.
