SYNOPSIS:

Diane Stanton, 25, has dumped her old lover and looks forward to starting again in a new place. When Diane learns that the previous tenant was brutally murdered, Diane's own paranoia kicks in. Then the elderly couple upstairs is tortured and killed. Scared to death, Diane accidentally stabs a detective on the case. The minute he's out of the way, Diane is attacked, waking up paralyzed, staring up from a gurney. A disembodied voice tells her the horrible pain she's about to endure. Meanwhile Max, the building super, helping the unseen fiend, has his way with Diane. Though fully aware of the defilement, Diane is frozen and unable to resist. The sadist has a gruesome end planned for Diane, and begins reducing her medication to make it all the more painful. After Diane fools the villain into thinking she's still incapacitated, she tries to escape, retreating to a neighbor's room, where she discovers he's been watching her all this time. In cahoots with Max and another tenant, he's been

buying up her paintings to sell after her death. With luck and a newfound blood-lust born of outrage, Diane battles and kills all three of her tormentors.
