A young journalist is manipulated by a billionaire inventor to act as bait to lure out inter-dimensional monsters for destruction. She doesn't know it, but she's not his victim- she's his weapon.

SYNOPSIS:

Natalie, a former Miss California, whose boyfriend, Tony, is a star NFL quarterback, thinks she's convinced a billionaire recluse, Knute, to write his biography. When he gives her a journal his mother kept, she finds the story of a drifter and World War Two veteran with PTSD, Sean, who gets work repairing a cabin for a young war widow, Sandra, on the slopes of Mount Shasta, a mountain rife with legends and disappearances. A touching love story then unfolds, but when the story gets into flying saucers, fairy realms and vicious demonic creatures, Natalie thinks she's being played. And that doesn't even cover the remarkable transformation of Sean after he enters Fairyland. What she doesn't know yet is that Knute is preparing her for a special task. Sandra's journal then goes into the youth of Knute back in the psychedelic 60's and how he and his girlfriend at the time, June, were drawn to Mount Shasta. Theirs, too, is a weird story or romance and mystery. The journal explains the transformation of Knute from average hippie to a genius who was activated to have strange powers. This looks like just some kind of weird family tradition of bizarre stories, or a novel, so Natalie is inclined to dump the project. But then, Knute suggests she, too, visit the legendary mountain and do some investigating. He figures she'll find her way into Fairyland and be transformed, too. So, she, along with her boyfriend find an old minister, Archie, who once worked with Sean on the cabin. While interviewing Archie, she finds a photo from the old days and much to her shock, sees a picture of her own mother. She can't believe it, but she's Knute's daughter. Confronting Knute, he takes her to his facilities at Nevada's Area 51 where he displays not only a flying saucer he designed, but a weapon he intends to use on the creatures at Mount Shasta - creatures that he thinks are responsible for his missing parents. She doesn't know it yet, but Knute feels he has no choice but to use his own daughter as bait to lure the monsters out of the mountain so that he can kill them. When Natalie went to Weed, It was Tony who wound up in Fairyland instead of her. Knute, then, has to take Natalie to the mountain so that, like Sean and Knute, Natalie can be transformed into a weapon. However, Natalie resists, wanting no part of what she thinks is a psychotic drama. It takes the help of the Fairy Queen to force Natalie into her realm. Trouble is, she still doesn't get activated. So when she returns and the creatures come out in force to kill her, it's because she's carrying a child who is destined to be a dire threat to the monsters. Amidst the carnage the monsters are inflicting on Weed's inhabitants, Natalie has to save herself, Knute and Tony by finding a way to become the weapon she was destined to be.
