SYNOPSIS:

Adam Montrose, a young man who has been infatuated with flight since youth. As a child he studied hard, and had a tendency to take too much on at once. Fortunately, his family: Mother, Father and Nan, were always there to help him. Nan, who is a constant reminder to him to enjoy life as it passes. It was a simple childhood, with neighborhood friends: Sue and Dan, who he palled around with. Sue, a smart bubbly girl and Dan, the kid down the street with no filter who made getting good grades look easy.

Adam often daydreams and is driven to study Aeronautical Engineering. It is going to be a challenging pursuit, but he chooses to leave his family and friends behind to go to college. In college, Adam has it good, a friendly roommate and is doing well in school. Adam is having so much fun in fact that he neglects to go to church or do anything spiritual.

Adam is working so hard that he is often confronted with anxiety. Adam has a problem. He has lost the inspiration that drives him so in the field of flight. It gets worse and worse until the day he receives a phone call. Nan has passed away. This sends Adam reeling. He has a nervous breakdown and ends up in the hospital.

Adam graduates and returns to his childhood home where he runs into Dan and Sue in Dan’s sports car. He gets a job interview with Magnum Force, an aeronautical engineering firm on the vanguard of aviation using Dan as a reference. Adam goes out to eat with Sue and they talk.

Adam befriends Filip, a handicapped janitor, at Magnum Force and discovers he used to be a championship boxer. His last fight stripped him of everything except his faith. Adam finds refuge in a church after his car breaks down in the rain.

How will Adam deal with all of his life's new challenges? Will he find his way back to his faith? Will he find love? Find out. Read Fledgling.
