Jack is a retired man, that is still grieving the death of his wife. Advised, he's taking therapy, to help deal with that matter. Jack recently enjoys painting, as his wife loved it too. It's a new hobby for him, but still not enough to pay the bills, like with his retirement check. But this month, there's no money, a missed calculation didn't deliver on time. And now Jack has to figure out, where he can find the money, to also feed his cat.

He decides try to sell two paintings, one of them, that his wife loves it. He heads to the market, but first goes to the daycare to see his grandchild. It's the only way, after the big argument he had with her mom, his daughter, they don't talk anymore. He also has an old friend, a hard worker retired farm man, whom he pays a visit to first, to chat a little.

Dealing with sales is not an easy task, plus there's the brother of his wife, an art dealer, that hates him, blaming him for the sudden departure of his sister. They even fight, towards some disagreement.

In between, there's an old friend, Mary, that helps him, deal with the stress of the days, like when his old friend goes to the hospital, but also sharing some strength, that helps him to stand on his feet. When everything is lost, she's there for him. They celebrate and appreciate the little things, together.

Enough for Jack, find a new meaning in his life, tying up all the unsolved problems from his life, and move on, on uncharted territory, ready to start living a new life, with the family on this side, and a new love interests.
