A young man struggles with his faith after his friend goes missing and the residents of a small town claim God took him to heaven.

SYNOPSIS:

David and his best friend Jeff go camping in the national forest outside of the small town of Amber. When Jeff and his dog King mysteriously vanish, David helps the people of the town in the search. Soon enough David discovers that people have been disappearing in the town for almost a hundred years.

David discovers that the disappearances are just the tip of the iceberg of the many strange things that happen in the small town. Most people in the town live to be over one hundred years old. Many of them have never been sick a day in their lives. Some claim to see angels that are "guarding" the town and they believe that the disappearances happen because God sends the angels to take some of them directly to heaven.

David eventually determines that the secret lies behind a locked door in the town church. But what lies beyond the door is far more than David can ever imagine and it leads to a startling, exciting, and unexpected climax.
