In 1940s Los Angeles, Central Avenue boasts a thriving Black community and jazz scene. The owners of the only luxury hotel on the famed street do whatever it takes to keep it afloat while the lure of Hollywood, an illegal speakeasy, and other secrets threaten its very existence.
