SYNOPSIS:

JAMES, a kind, nurturing adolescent cares for a handful of LOST BOYS, guided by FAIRIES on an island called Neverland. A baby, PETER, arrives, who James saves from a pair of crocodiles. The fairies tell James that he must prepare Peter to be the great Pan, ambassador to new Lost Boys. Peter turns out to be a reckless psychopath, putting others in harm’s way for his own amusement. When the fairies announce that it is time for Peter to rule Neverland, James is forced to leave. He winds up in London, found by a sailor named SMEE who enrolls James into a boarding school, where he loses the memory of his past and is tormented by a bully, TIM, who discovers one of his secrets. He learns to fence, as well as the value of “good form.” He also has numerous encounters with ISABELLE, with whom James is smitten, but he is far too shy to approach her. Years later, distraught over Isabelle’s betrothal to Tim, James runs into a former Lost Boy also exiled by Peter. Suddenly their memories of Neverland return, along with the anguish and anger, and James realizes he has the means to seek his revenge...
