A family dinner takes a sinister turn when the children are reminded of a generational ritual at the onset of the father’s terminal illness.
SYNOPSIS:
Inspired by true events - Short to Feature
The Sheppard family goes back 10 generations in the New England area. Surrounded by mystery and buried in grave after grave of rumors. A tradition, a trait, passed down from one generation to the next. A passage of time and name that only the ones who survive will know what happened to the generation before.
A mother gathers her four adult children to their father, to hear the news of his failing heart and the need to perform the ritual tonight. With no warning, she declares the race for the family name and need for blood. Only one son and only one daughter may carry on the family name. The fairy tale known to the three sisters has now become a nightmare.
The young women have only a minute to say their goodbyes before nightfall, for the rise of the sun in the morning will bring the end to the father and begin the new generation.
Dusk sets. The house is still. The girls prepare for a twisted game. Find your sisters and kill them before they find you.
